Very nice atmosphere and experience. Although the atmosphere is more conducive to a romantic date outing, I found it to be relaxing as a solo diner. I had a very hustle and bustle day, and dining at The Melting Pot for the first time was much needed time with myself. You cannot be in hurried to enjoy and embrace the full experience which I had chosen the four course experience. My time there allowed me reflect, breath, and strategize while eating a very tasting and a fulfilling meal self-prepared at the comfort of my table. It was a rememberable experience of my time in San Diego. I highly recommend The Melting Pot.

Went here for my sisters birthday and we had a gift card. The waitress was amazing with helping us choose what to get. We ended up getting the spinach and artichoke cheese and the flaming turtle. Both amazing and I love how she explained what she was putting in any why. Definitely will be back!

Food and ambience are as you would expect from The Melting Pot. Good food, great cocktails etc. However, the service was lacking. My water glass was empty more than it wasn’t. The server kept forgetting things, and he rarely checked on us. Just not in my experience how The Melting Pot works. Other than the service it was a great night.

Paid $400.00 for four people to dine here on Mother's Day. The selections were minimal and everyone had to agree on the same items whether you liked those items or not. The lighting was so dim that I could barely read the menu. The waiter was as confused as I was regarding the four course meal. After we ordered, he came back and said those items weren't available. Then he gave us a completely different menu with 1/2 the options. No reason...no explanation. The cheese fondue had a bad taste and the small chunks of steaks and chicken took forever to cook on the grill because they were just chunks and not sliced. Very small portions for the price they charge! The food was bland and had no flavor. The chocolate fondue was okay. My first experience here was a total disappointment. The whole meal took about 3 1/2 hours and I couldn't wait to leave. I won't be back.

My wife and I flew to San Diego for our 6 year anniversary. We had our anniversary dinner at The Melting Pot and we were not disappointed. This was an absolutely amazing experience from the moment we set foot in the building until we walked out. Sherif, our waiter, provided us with excellent service and guidance the whole way through, as we had never been here before. This not only helped make our night unforgettable, but gave us reason to come back in the future.
